I went outside earlier to take my sis-in-law home and we couldn't believe all of the smoke in the area. I stopped to get the mail and I could barely breathe. We cancelled soccer practice because it is so bad. I am waiting to hear what it could be from.
In other news, my poor Zac has been so cranky lately. I don't know what's going on with him these days. One minute he is fine and giggly and the next he is crying and clinging to my leg. I hope he gets over it soon cuz he only wants me to hold him and carry him around and he is way too heavy for me to do that.
It must be something with the brothers cuz Zeke hasn't been behaving very well lately either. The worst part is that he knows he's doing something wrong but he's not really doing anything to make it better.
We will have to figure something out with those boys.

Alice in "Wonderland"
Well I had a really busy Saturday. I woke up and got ready for my Scrap Pink with my sis-in-law. She picked me up and she drove me to Roseville to my fave scrapbooking store, Green Tangerines. There, she made some very cute Halloween cards and I worked on soccer books for all the kiddos on Zeke's soccer team. I got pretty far with them and now I need to start printing the pics. We got lunch and dinner, a cupcake bar (very yummy), cupcake make and take and a "goodie" bag. I had a lot of fun.
We had to leave early because I was also going to the Sillman's Halloween party. I changed into my costume at Green Tangerines and all of the ladies were giving me whistles and great comments. My sis-in-law dropped me off where I entered into a crazy zone. Nothing like crazy adults in fun costumes.

Here is my dear sweet husband and I. What did he put in that box?

What's in your box, no, what's in your box? They have way too much fun together.

Even the St Pauly girl was gettin in on the action!

Where's Waldo? Senia's brother went as Waldo and he is randomly placed in some pictures. I thought this one was great.

Chef Stef cookin' up some goodies with Alice.

Where did the Big Lebowski come from?

Some of my girls and I having fun.

Very naught, she touched his "package".

As if you couldn't tell from all of the pics, yes we did have a great time. I had to post so many so that all of you at home could see just how much fun we had.

Happy Birthday Anton...
Today is Anton's birthday. I was invited to his party at the Happy Viking where I had a great time. I really enjoyed hanging out with my cousins and their friends. It is something that we haven't done in a long time. Jaca had Bel Air make him a mocha cake. A mocha cake was a tradition in our family. Every birthday, Oma would ask us what we would want to eat for our birthday and it would always be her homemade mocha cake. Eating my piece of cake brought back a lot of childhood memories. Isn't it weird how smells and tastes can do that? I was ok until Jaca started getting teary eyed, then she got me going. It was a good memory to relive and I enjoyed it.

Freakin out!!
Poor Zac, he doesn't get this whole Halloween holiday yet. Herschel has been trying to get his costume ready for this weekend's costume party and Zac freaks out every time he sees daddy with the wig on. Herschel's costume isn't even scary but the wig just looks too different. I feel so bad for Zac because I can just see his face change. I will take pics this weekend and post them for all to see. I am looking forward to seeing Herschel and Mark's duo. They are going to be hilarious, I just know it. I am still yet to come up with a costume for me. I am going tomorrow to look but I don't know if I want to spend the money. They are so stinkin' expensive.
In other news I have been busier working to earn some extra money for the holidays and to pay off some bills before we go on our big vacation over Christmas.
This weekend, I will also be doing "Scrap Pink" at Green Tangerines in Roseville. I am looking forward to doing that. A big portion of the money goes towards raising money for breast cancer awareness. My sis-in-law is going with me. We did this last year as well. Maybe we started a new tradition for the two of us.

The days are just packed...
I can't believe that it has been a whole week since I have last blogged. Well, correction, I can believe it because it seems like we have been so busy. Monday was a house work day since I realized that last weekend my driver's license expired and Monday was a holiday so I had to wait til Tuesday to get it renewed.
Tuesday, my mom took me to get my license and it only took about 15-20 minutes. They are getting very organized in the DMV these days. After that, she went with me to Green Tangerines to get my Designer's Challenge point. We also went to Borders to check out some goodies and then we had lunch at La Bou.
Wednesday invovled straigtening up the house and doing laundry, blech. Then the kiddos and I headed to my inlaws for dinner and to celebrate Gabby's birthday.
Thursday, I had a meeting in the morning that lasted til the afternoon. Then we had soccer practice, dinner and I had to make cupcakes for the Fall Festival. I also had to get my scrapbook items ready for my "All Day Crop" on Friday morning.
Friday, I got up bright and early and went and picked up my friend and we headed to the scrapbook expo. It was so much fun and I am almost done with the food book I am making for Zac's surgeon for his birthday. Herschel called me midday to tell me that the Fall Festival was postponed once again and now they won't be able to do it until the spring. I don't mind, since I was going to miss it anyways.
Saturday was soccer day. Zeke played goalie first half and did a great job. He stopped a few goals, one that got kicked pretty hard. The second half he was a foward and he did pretty good. He had a header and then passed it to a team mate and he scored. Their game was a tie this week, 2-2. Our first goal was made by one of the girls on the team. Our little spitfire. After soccer, I drove down to Sac to drop Hersch off to play with James and I took the kiddos to get their Halloween pics taken. Zac was not interested in getting his pics taken but I managed to get a couple cute pics of them. I will have to post a few later. The kids got some new shoes and I got new slippers courtesy of mom and dad. We are all very excited about our shoes. Espescially Zac, he slept with his on last night. We finally came home and I scrapbooked with my friend again and another friend stopped by.
This morning, I am waiting for the cinnamon rolls to cool off to feed the vultures and then I am off to pick up Hersh.

Fabulous Weekend
Well sorry it has taken me so long to blog about my weekend but I had a few other things that I really needed to take care of. One of which was my driver's license. I realized on my way to San Francisco to pick up one of my girlfriends that it had expired last week on my birthday. Uh Oh!! So I had others driving me in my car over the weekend. I had to wait until today to get it renewed due to the Columbus Holiday yesterday. Well I can drive again legally. It didn't take very long at DMV this morning.
I also had to complete my scrapbook challenge for this week so that I could take it to Green Tangerines this morning. I finished my layout last night. I also had to help Zeke with a poster he was doing because he is VIP this week at school. He is very excited about that because he gets to be first in line every time they line up and he gets to bring sharing every day. Such fun stuff for a second grader.
Now I can talk about my weekend. I headed to San Francisco and San Jose with some friends for the New Kids on the Block concert. We had dinner at this nice little restaurant in downtown San Jose and then we walked to the HP Pavilion for the concert. Natasha Beddingfield (sp?) opened for them and she was awesome. I love her music and want to download a bunch of it now. New Kids were great!! We had a blast!! I don't think I have ever heard so many women scream so loud in all of my life. It was insane.
We stayed the night with one of my girlfriends in San Jose and had a great time catching up with her. We went to breakfast the next morning at this yummy little restaurant down the street from her. After breakfast, we researched Jordan Knight on YouTube for the song where he takes his shirt off. We all came to the conclusion that unless he's in a restaurant, there is no need for him to wear a shirt. After that we did some shopping at Santana Row and at the mall. We did a paper craft project at one of the stores and we were all getting into the festivities. I got a few little goodies and had a blast.

Our evening was topped off with the Chocolate Festival in Belmont. There was so much chocolate in such a small room. It was a yummy evening. It was a great time to chat and enjoy the chocolate. The girls had a great weekend out.
Well during my fun time on Saturday, I texted Hersch to tell me how Zeke's soccer game went. He texted back that Zeke scored 2 goals. Two goals!!! That boy never has enough confidence to do that, even though I know he is capable. I was so excited for Zeke. He called me at breakfast to tell me the play by plays. Of course I missed seeing them. Hopefully he will try to do that again this weekend otherwise, I need to leave more often. (insert sad face here) I was so very happy for him. I know how much he has been wanting to be more aggressive.

Pumpkin Patch
Today was a great day for me. It was my birthday. Despite having to get a new battery for the big car this morning and actually having to work today, I had a great lunch with miss Sara, had fun at the Pumpkin Patch with my three fave boys and I had dinner with my parents and grandparents. What more could a girl want?? Good times with great family.

I really enjoyed watching the boys take it all in at the Pumpkin Patch. It was Zac's first time and Herschel's first time at this particular patch. Zeke has been but always seems to have a lot of fun. I think Zac's favorite was the petting zoo. He really enjoyed feeding the goats and Zeke liked searching for the perfect pumpkin and riding on the train.

Herschel's find. I actually got a real smile out of him. Imagine that!!

Zeke's hard searching paid off. Check out his pumpkin.

Zac's little pumpkin. Isn't it cute. He wanted to throw it. That's really no surprise.
Thank you to all of you that sent me birthday wishes. I appreciated them very much.

Croft Housewarming

I would just like to say thanks to the Crofts for a great housewarming party last night. We had a great time. There was plenty of food, fun and jello shots!!! It was nice to see the house as a home for you guys. It was good to visit with everyone as well. Needless to say, we were tired this morning but we don't get to play with everyone that often.

Can't wait to see everyone real soon.

Loot from the Fairy....

Okay so here is the money Zeke got from the Tooth Fairy. That lucky boy. But I have to say that he can really be sweet sometimes. He often hears me say that we don't have money to do stuff, so on our way to soccer practice on Tuesday he came out to me and was holding his money. I told him to go and put it away so that he wouldn't lose it. He said, "No, mommy I am giving one dollar to you and one to daddy so that now you will have some money." How sweet is that???? Sometimes he can be so thoughtful.
On another note, I am bummed because we were supposed to have the Fall Festival at Zeke's school tomorrow night but it got postponed due to what the weather "might" be like. It is going to be next Friday but I am going to be gone. I will be missing the festival once again. I was really looking forward to going. I wanted to take some pictures of him having fun.
