12 year anniversary!

Today is my husband and I's 12 year anniversary. It is that date that we first started dating. So I made him this card. I am waiting for him to get home so I can see his face when he opens it. He thinks I'm crazy for how much I wish I could scrapbook more, but he knows how happy it makes me. Any hoo, we started dating at the State Fair in Sac 12 years ago. My friend even took a pic of us holding hands. I will have to dig out that pic and put it on here. We don't have any plans for the night cuz we got the fun kiddos but we manage to have our fun with them.

I put this card on here for BrandiGirl from Green Tangerines since I gave her a bad time for showing me these stamps from Scenic Route.

Zac's Urodynamics

Zac had to go down to UC Davis hospital today for his urodynamics. Those are a series of peeing tests to determine if he is urinating normally. It also checks to make sure that when his bladder is full, that it doesn't go back into his kidneys and gets him sick. Well, naturally he did not enjoy the catheder or the thing up his butt to monitor pressure on his bladder but he did a great job. He is such a trooper. His tests came out really well. So well that he doesn't have to take one of his medicines any more. That was a big relief for us. Now he just has check ups with docs. It is absolutely amazing to me to sit and think of all that he has gone thru and he has turned out so well. My little spitfire.
Well my other one, Zeke, had soccer practice tonight and did really well. He was very aggressive during the scrimmage. I was happy to see that for a change.

Dave Matthews Band

Well I am very bummed because we were supposed to the Dave Matthews Band concert tonight at Raley field in West Sac but it was postponed due to the unexpected death of their saxaphonist. It is really sad that he died because he was so young and they aren't sure why. The only good thing is that the band didn't completely cancel the concert. However since our schedules are becoming so busy, I am worried that Herschel won't get to join me for the new date and time. What was even worse was on our way home we heard "Crash" on the radio. That happens to be our all-time favorite song of theirs. We always dance to it at the concerts. I wish the band and the family members well and know that Leroi Moore will be missed greatly. He had some great solos.

Blog Virgin

So I am new at this whole blogging business but I thought I would venture into this century and give it a try.
I just have to say that I have the two cutest boys in the whole world. They were hilarious at dinner tonight. They were whispering back and forth to each other. It is really cute to see a twenty month old trying to whisper. He made a mess of his dinner. He loves applesauce and he was covered in it. He thinks it is finger food.
In other news, we survived the first week back to school without too much complaning. However, Herschel and I are extremely tired by the end of the day. We used to be able to stay up until the wee hours of the mornings, but this adulthood does not allow that to happen. With that being said, I think I am heading off to bed.
